Perfect Lighting with Adjustable Reflector:
The two-part reflector design, consisting of a spherical (dome-shaped) upper part and a movable cone-shaped lower part, enables direct light control. The lower reflector ring rotates 360° around the upper dome and can tilt up to 30°, allowing you to effortlessly adjust the lighting to your preferences.
History
This unique light fixture is a faithful reproduction of the original design by Körting & Mathiesen AG Leipzig - Leutzsch, which was awarded a Gold Medal for its lighting innovations at the Berlin Building Exhibition in 1931.
Reissue
An original version of this light, displayed at our exhibition “Bauhaus Lamps? KANDEMLICHT!” at the GRASSI Museum of Applied Arts Leipzig in 2002 and at the Bauhaus Archive, Museum of Design in Berlin in 2003, inspired us to create a reissue and served as a model for our reproduction.

The Kalottenpendelleuchte is compatible with LED bulbs that have an E27 socket and supports power between 8 and 11 watts.

Is the light’s cable length adjustable?
You can specify a custom cable length when ordering. Please note that additional cable is charged in full meters due to individual processing costs. If the desired length falls between 1.5 and 2.5 meters, we charge for 2.5 meters; between 2.5 and 3.5 meters, we charge for 3.5 meters, and so on.

How is the light cleaned?
For daily cleaning, a dry, soft cloth is sufficient to dust the light. For tougher dirt, use a damp cloth or a soft sponge with a bit of mild detergent.
Then dry with a soft cloth to avoid streaks.
